Hi,
I've been searching various hosts, nothing I've tried seems to work for me in terms of free for a webpage. I'm going to pay but want to get the following:
1) Text pages, sort of a medical information site, includes probably about 15 pages of links for solid medical info (like anemias, vitamins, stomach, nerd research articles, etc.) alone. Otherwise probably 25 in total.
2) Some screenshot images of some pdf's. A number of these would be like 100K or less or so.
3) Would need something to help me create the site. I'm an Oracle person not a web person but I can wing some small HTML type stuff.
4) Don't need tons of space, tons of graphics, or MySQL, etc. Ability to contact me from the site would be a good, maybe a form type email but otherwise that's it. No forums or lots of people, this is specialized. Don't need a domain name either.
5) Do want month to month payments if possible or low cost yearly plan types.
Suggestions?

Hello all and Wish you and your folks a wish-fulfilling and prosperous New Year from India.
Hunting for best Web Hosting. As a non-member till now, I've learned a lot by browsing through the forums: No to EIG, lure of unlimited space, etc. So thanks to all. Didn't opt for any local hosting services because of unenthusiastic and poor response to queries. Good enough as most belonged to EIG, which I discovered here is least preferred. Would appreciate a second opinion of veterans and experienced members for the same old question. Currently, I need a hosting plan for a personal website, but may invest in a multiple websites hosting plan for websites of clients too, which hope is legit.

I am looking to move my blog from Blogger to Wordpress, self-hosted with my own domain name (which I haven't yet bought). Please could someone suggest where to start in looking for hosting? I tried Google but then found a post on here which said a lot of reviews are fake so thought it best to as you good people. The blog currently gets very little traffic and I only want something cheap and cheerful for now while I see how much time I'm going to have to put into the blog.

Hello,
I have a forum website(invision board) and need some inputs to select a dedicated server.
My forum has 8 million posts (Including posts and topics) in total.
Right now i am using Xeon 5260 2 bay chaisis
12 gb ram
400 gb SD
I just want to know how can we determine the server configuration ..based on what factors?
Current issues i am facing is database table crashes....

Resell hosting that answer my needs
Hi everyone
i've been browsing around for several weeks here, but just now registered...
i'm looking for a resell hosting that has these features:
must features:
1. branding option - unique nameservers, logo's, etc..
2. able to make coupons for my clients.
3. i want to give first domain 'free' to my customers, looking to integrate with a domain reseller such as ******** (whmcs does that i think), but the second, third or so domains will cost them.
4. the option to pay now but choose the free domain later. (or something like a gift card option, or any other way to purchase hosting for someone else)
5. taking care of billing issues (renewals mostly) of both hosting and domain.
6. have an affiliate program
nice to have features:
1. adding files to packages (so when users registers with a package, their account will have certain files)
2. ssl certificate. for my small biz owners who wants to sell things without taking their clients to paypal website. (not sure about that tho)
3. overselling? i havent decided yet about that one either...
4. affiliate clients can make custom names to existing coupons so if someone use their coupon (instead of aff link) they will get commission.
5. easy to use. or at least with good and quick support to build the system i want.
budget:
lets say the 25$/mo area.
ohh and disk space/bandwidth unlimited of course
joking...
